Women are great. I mean I don't want to date or marry them (I did that in college...talk about experimenting) but now I just wanna bask in the talent of some of them. We all know true divas. Powerful women in whatever they do-it doesn't have to be show business, but those are usually the most fun. So as I was sitting at my computer chatting with my real life divas, and surfing around Youtube for clips from classic divas, I decided-these women need a little space for me to tell them how great I think they are.
The goal here is to find a different woman every day who is all the things a diva is. Of course there will be some repeats-some women just need more than one day (some need more than one year) but we are going to try to keep it fresh and interesting. I'm open for suggestions of divas you know, admire, aspire to be-so let me know who they are.
Some people would say that a diva is only a singer or performer, but I don't think that is the case anymore. I also hate when the word get a negative connotation. A diva is like a goddess who rules over whatever she is and does. And to appreciate what one diva does or who she is, you have to appreciate them all. It takes a great woman to hold her own in this world, rise to the top and become a shining light in the fog-and here is where I want to say "thank you" them for making my world a little brighter every day.
